35-45 DOULA PROGRAM
NURTURING AND SUPPORTING YOU THROUGHOUT YOUR
THIRD & FOURTH TRIMESTER
Developed by two local mothers, Grayce our Women's Health Physiotherapist who knows the importance of birth preparation, understanding your birth options, and optimising your recovery in your fourth trimester.
Kirsty our Pregnancy & Postpartun Doula who brings a wealth of knowledge on preparing both mentally and physically for birth. Kirsty will prepare you for a smoother transition into your fourth trimester (she will even do your washing).
Together and with the help from other local women's health professioanals we give you our 35-45 program.
What we can offer:
INITIAL MEET & GREET
Come have a coffee with us! This is the perfect time for us to gain a deeper understanding about your expectations and develop a trusting relationship.
BIRTH EDUCATION & PLANNING
You want to be prepared as possible right? We'll educate and demonstrate to you and your partner techniques and positions that can lead to a positive experience and birth outcome.
PAMPER & BONDING
Want to see those chubby cheeks & whether they've taken after you in the looks department? 3D ultrasounds are great for seeing your beautiful baby and bonding. At the Women's Health Boutique you can also recieve a Mummy Tummy Facial to rehydrate you dry stretching skin.
HOME VISIT WITHIN 7DAYS OF BIRTH
The first week of being home can be emotiona, exhausting and overwhelming. We're here to help, we can watch your baby as you have a shower, clean your house, make sure you have good nutricious food readily available. We will also debrief with you, and be a listening ear.
ONGOING PHONE/EMAIL SUPPORT
Need to ask questions, vent or even cry - well we have that covered. We can provide you with the advice and support you need to ensure your transition to motherhood is positive.
PRENATAL HOME VISIT
We'll come in and make sure you have absolutely everything ready, from your hospital bag, meals, to even organising your tribe.
PROVIDE YOU WITH ITEMS TO HELP YOUR BIRTH & RECOVERY
We all want the best recovery, well we have you covered. We will provide you with hire of the latest research backed products such as; LaborTENS hire, SRC Recovery Tights etc.
PLACENTA ENCAPSULATION
You may have heard about it, but do you know all the amazing benefits of encapsulating your placenta? The Women's Health Boutique are well equipped to honour your placenta.
BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT
Breastfeeding doesnt come easily sometimes, we'll send our breastfeeding expert out to you to provide one-on-one support in the comfort of your own home.
At 6wks we would have booked you your postnatal check with Grayce our Women's Health Physiotherapist to assess your pelvic floor, abdominal separation and much more.
